Initially, Massive Promotions started out as a promotional street team that would distribute flyers, posters etc for events that Keeton would be hosting. Soon after being established, Keeton was able to take full advantage of his street team by paying them to do promotions for nightclubs, parties, organizations etc.
Once Keeton relocated to Washington, DC, he was introduced to a guy that did independent national promotions and event planning, Rockstar Entertainment Marketing (R.E.M). Keeton teamed up with R.E.M in the summer of 2007 to focus on helping fortune 500 companies take advantage of unique marketing opportunities within the entertainment industry. The two were able to coordinate and execute The SuperParty, Superbowl after party in Glendale, AZ and Casino Night for the Metropolitan Junior Baseball League at the 40/40 in Manhattan.
"The Life of a Hustler"
Keeton's vision for Massive Promotions is to be able to promote all affiliated projects through their own efforts and channels. The newest Massive Promotion quest is a reality show concept titled, “The Life of a Hustler". This show will take viewers on the conquest of a young entrepreneur’s journey through making it in the entertainment business.
Acknowledging that reality TV is the new trend in the entertainment culture, Keeton thinks that there is one element that has not been illustrated. "We have seen shows such as "The Apprentice" and "I Want to Work for Diddy" that describe what it is like to work for/with these entertainment moguls, but we have yet to see a person go from having that strong idea to being that entertainment mogul" says Keeton. "The Life of a Hustler will illustrate the ups and downs, the false promises, the lies, the heartaches, the triumphs, and the glory of achieving your dreams". -Jhai Keeton
Massive Promotions have released clips of "The Life of a Hustler" on YouTube to generate interest from viewers. To date, the channel has received over 90,000 hits.
